Our new part-time Minister is Rev Ron Bennett – he was inducted on 22 June 2025. His journey to PCANZ ministry in 1998 came via high school teaching, theological training, and missionary work in the Middle East and Pakistan. However, his roots are firmly in Morrinsville – he was born in this town, raised on a dairy farm in Tatuanui, and is a product of Morrinsville College where he was Head Boy and captained the 1st XV rugby and 1st eleven cricket teams.
Ron is happily married to Bronnie; they have a son and daughter and are blessed with 4 grandchildren – two boys and two girls. Ron’s passion is to encourage people, from ‘nappies-to-nineties’. He enjoys sharing God’s Word in a way that relates to everyday life in this fast-paced, modern world. He delights to see all members of the church exercising the gifts God has given them and together having a positive influence on each other and on the community of Morrinsville.
Our elders play an important role in the care of the Church family and in the decisions required to run an effective church. They have taken every member under their wing and do regular 'care calls' to see how people are getting on and if there is anything they need support with, on both a practical and spiritual level.

Behind the scenes of any Church are the wonderful members who keep the paperwork in order, know what is where and support every part of the Church teams to keep things running smoothly. They look after the building and what goes on inside it.
The worship team work with the ministers to support and uplift the Word each Sunday. They meet regularly and are committed to meeting early each Sunday to practice and support the Church family in prayer.
These wonderful Church members are assigned to keep in contact with all Church members. They provide a listening ear and can arrange help in various ways if needed.
We are very blessed to have an amazing and dedicated team of volunteers who help keep the Church looking smart and serving the Church family by way of tea and coffee after services, flower arrangement and other tasks.
