Knox Facilities

Church Complex
The Knox Church Complex has been built over a period of 45 years to replace the original buildings. The complex has tasteful gardens and grounds, which also contain an olive tree grown from a cutting brought back from the Garden of Gethsemane by one of the previous ministers at Knox. A good-sized sealed car park is also part of the whole complex which was, in its various phases, built mainly by volunteer labour and is entirely debt free.
Campbell Hall
Campbell Hall was erected in 1956-57 and has mainly double brick cavity walls with steel frames supporting the roof. It has a capacity of 200 in its main area with stage facilities, storage and several small rooms. Its main floor area has been carpeted. A large foyer, worship auditorium, large kitchen and offices were added during 1984. Campbell Hall was also upgraded and rewired at this time.
The auditorium has an official capacity of 245, which can be enlarged into the foyer to cater for 345, though on occasions gatherings of 500 have been handled. A toilet area was added in 2000, which includes a disability area. There is also additional storage at the end of the corridor.
